Lupinal
Lupinals are typically found in Mishoru or Regshire.
- Ability Score Increase. Increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1.
- Size. Small or Medium. You choose the size when you select this race.
- Speed. 30 ft.
- Creature Type. You are a Humanoid.
- Age. Lupinals reach adulthood at age 14 and live up to 70 years.
- Canine's Nose. You have advantage on Perception skill checks that rely on smell.
- Claws. Your claws are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you can deal slashing damage equal to 1d6 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
- Dragonmark. You have a Dragonmark of your choice.
- Howl. As a bonus action you can let out an especially menacing howl. Creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you that can hear you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC of the save equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
- Languages. You can read and write Common.
Ancient Lupinals were created by magic mutating canines into monsters, but the Goddess Beory gave them wisdom and the intelligence to speak. Lupinals have a litter of four to six pups. They can walk around six months and talk around one years. Lupinals don't celebrate birthdays. At age fourteen they are considered adults and expected to either contribute to society by working, training, or studying, or they travel the world exploring it. At age eighteen to thirty a female Lupinal is able to give birth. It takes around three months to give birth. Around forty Lupinal's fur will start turning grey or white, if they fur was not already like this at birth.
