The Witchlands
Structure
The Witchlands are loosely governed by a Council of Elders-- representatives from each community within the Witchlands, broadly called Elders as a group, though each community may have their own title/s, gather to discuss the needs of the broader community and form plans for internal and external policies/interactions.
Culture
Each community within the Witchlands has their own culture, stemming from their wildly varied origins, but the loose union of the Witchlands works due to a couple of through-lines in cultural values. Primarily these are a curiosity with the arcane, an adherence to one's word despite an appreciation for trickery, respect for social rules (which can vary wildly from community to community, but have some commonality), and last but not least a stewardship of the natural world and a balance between it and society.
Religion
Surprise surprise, just like every other aspect, the communities of the Witchlands have a wide and varied spread of religious views, many of which are seldom seen or practiced in other regions.

Allies
The elven roots of Stella-Sylvaire leads to its people and leadership respecting the largely nature-driven lives of the peoples of the Witchlands, as well as their common Fey roots-- a respect that is well reciprocated, especially by Baba Yaga, who understands that the Kingdoms' tactical and diplomatic skills make them valuable allies as well as particularly thorny enemies.
