The Eccahlina is a rare item crafted and used by Necromancer and Soul Alum in order to create ghostly echoes of deceased monsters and beings. Classified as a soul amplifier, this is a rare item that few beings on Violem know how to use effectively. But if done right, can cause mayhem in the area of activation.
This special soul cage is typically made of bone, wax, rotting wood or a combination of all the above. Bounded together either by dark magic or bone crafters (a unique type of blacksmith that specializes in using bone as a forging material) in the shape of a chalice. Once the cup shape is created, users are able to contain the brain, remains or sufficient amounts of blood from a deceased creature ready to be activated using the correct incantation.

Effects:

When an Eccahlina is activated, the item becomes a spawning tool, creating ghostly imitations of whatever creature was used to fuel the chalice. For example, if the brain of a snake was used then the Eccahlina would create spirits that resemble a snake. The chalice is capable of spawning upto 3 echoes at any one time. If one of the echoes are destroyed, then the chalice is able to spawn a replacement. The ghostly echoes have the same abilities as the creature it mimics, so if the remains of a Whipper Whaywas used, then the echoes would be able to slash.
If adventurers are able to locate the item itself, then they can destroy the container with physical or magical attacks. If the Eccahlina is destroyed, all echoes that have been spawned are also destroyed. But be wary of getting too close as the chalice has a defensive mechanism. If it detects a being within its proximity it will produce a screech that could potentially frighten nearby adventurers, causing them to flee.
