Resonator

The vibration loving jellyfish of the skies. Resonators are translucent blobbish animals that float in the air following the strongest and loudest sounds across the realm.

Oh I simply find them fascinating creatures. Just up above, a few miles behind us wherever we go. Just minding their own business. And then, when we are all setup in a town and begin the show they almost seem to dance amongst the stars. Oh what a lovely sight it is to see, its like a constant crowd of adoring fans.

Actions:

Sting - When it feels threatened, it sends an electrical pulse through its tentacles zapping anything nearby. 1d4 melee damage, chance to paralyse upon a critical roll.
Fly - Able to float high above the enemy to avoid attacks. Evades attacks upon a successful roll.

Habitat:

The Resonator are a strange sight even in a world filled with magic. Their translucent skin and irregular shape often catches the eyes of people looking up into the night sky. Leaving them unsure of what exactly they have seen. They spend most of their life high in the skies searching for air waves to ride. Or in the thick of thunderstorms, following Sauratar and the thunderous crashes they create.
If a Resonator does drift closer to the surface it is due to the sounds of musicians, being attracted to the sound of musical instruments. The creatures have also been reported at large mining sites, sometimes blocking the entrance to mine shafts, caves and tunnels becoming an inconvienience than any sort of threat.
The nature of these jelly substance beings is one that is peaceful and mostly harmless to the people of Violem. The only encounters of Resonators causing a threat is when they are prvoked or backed into a corner they cannot escape.
