The Griffon's Nest

An old ruined tower has now been taken over by a Griffon to make it's nest.

History

Centuries ago, long before the tower became a ruin, it was created by an old kingdom as an outpost to oversee the northern lands of Boroughian Wetlands. Given it's heightened position over the lands on the south and it natural chokepoint position between lake Ilerontinoi and lake Vesztaso it was a perfect place to be able to spot and hold off any enemies coming from the south. As the kingdom controlling it fell apart and interest in the Wetlands faded it was abandoned. Others have used the building over the years but eventually it became so unmaintained it became too dangerous and nature took over. Eventually a Griffon found it's nest there and most had forgotten what was there so it became just another ruin.
