Gaal
Gaals are creatures that have died but did not travel to the world of the dead. They were trapped between the two worlds for a reason, much like Ghosts. The difference between a Gaal and a Ghost, is that a Gaal is closer to the world of the living, material in form, with only a part of their energy connecting to the world of the dead. Their death erased most of their memories of previous lives.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Gaals are undead creatures in material form. Unlike most undead, their organs perform basic functions but their body seems to be able to operate without them as well. They feel physical pain as well as mental but their senses are considered limited due to the nature of their impaired nervous system. Their shape is humanoid, like a blank canvas without distinct features and their skin is pale-white like milk. Their voices are usually deep and carry a melodic tune.

Civilization and Culture
Culture and Cultural Heritage
Gaals are calm and almost show no expressions of what they are feeling. They are too often distracted and lost, since they do not experience time the same way mortals do. They also share a natural affinity to great vacant spaces. Gaals cannot die. If they are killed by mortal means, they fall to a deep sleep and regenerate within days.
