Norionor Whiteshield
King Norionor Whiteshield (a.k.a. Naranor)
Norionor Whiteshield, a prominent king of Lothen and a key figure in Vitallia's history, was tasked with uniting the kingdoms of the Forklands in anticipation of the rumored arrival of Nedel. This directive stemmed from a prophecy delivered by Laraskul and deciphered by the king's counselor, Akreyn Thiaspis. Norionor, driven by a fervent belief in the prophecy, assembled a formidable army and initiated the "March of the Lion," intending to not only subdue the Forklands but to conquer the entire mainland of Vitallia. However, the prophecy from Laraskul suffered a misinterpretation. Instead of Nedel emerging, it was his minions, led by the Children of Chaos, who surfaced and launched an assault on the city of Goualekir. At this critical juncture, Norionor Whiteshield, already consumed by the pursuit of war and fueled by greed, chose to disregard the fate of Goualekir and pressed on with his ambitious campaign. This decision led to a coalition of powerful individuals joining forces to thwart him. The culmination of these events unfolded in the Battle of Swordbridge, where Norionor faced his downfall at the hands of the Element—a creature purposefully designed for this very task.
