The Battle of Shadowbarge

The Battle of Shadowbarge marked a monumental clash between the invading Maor Elves from Arcanara and the Elves of Exotia. Descending upon the Hedgewood with zeppelins, the Maor Elves aimed to conquer the city of Osteria and establish a connection between the northern and central regions of Exotia. The northern Elves, predisposed to the rulers of Arcanara, hinted at rebellion for years before the invasion. The attack was successfully repelled, resulting in the slaughter of the Maor Elves. In the aftermath, a treaty was established with the northern Elders of Exotia, placing controls on their power, influence, and communication with the Maor Elves of Arcanara. The Battle of Shadowbarge proved pivotal, compelling the elves to better organize as a nation. In the wake of this significant event, Nathos Spellhold was elected as the first official Great Elder to rule over them, succeeding Laira, the First Phoenix.
