Their quest was a noble one, aimed at challenging the oppressive rule of Kadas Even, who had seized control of Rose's kingship in the wake of Queen Meriel Roserise's fall. Tragically, Valkoinen met his demise while attempting a valiant effort to restore Meriel Roserise to life near the sacred Tree of Maldagar.
