Witch Mountains

The location has been connected with various rumors that range back to an era of prohibition of magic. Rumors also refer to the Witch Crypts, underground rooms that were used to torture magic users during that era in Lothen in 1110 AC. King Luther Whiteshield enabled the torturing of wizards and witches in an attempt to locate wanted magicians. These events were later branded as “national shame” in the pages of Lothen’s history and the dungeons known as Witch Crypts were abandoned, as people considered them cursed by the Gods.
