House Voclaine
House Voclaine is a vassal house of House Kriegschiff known for their archaelogical discoveries, historical works and handling of ancient artifacts. Led by Benjamin Voclaine the house has recently risen to prominence after marrying their son Milo Voclaine to the second daughter of House Kriegschiff Evelyne Kriegschiff. While Milo has gone missing the hosue still maintains its wealthy position as it works hand in hand with the Kriegschiffs to find the missing boy. Their seat lies in Platinum Keep at the top of the Driftwood Coas their sigil is that of a ship on the waves with an eye peering down and their house words are Uncover the Past Chart the Future.
Structure
House Voclaine is organized in a mostly traditional manner with a Lord handling all of the house's affairs, but where it differs is in the matter of partition. Instead of the eldest male, they instead hold a long term competition between the children of the lord and whoever can prove themselves to the current lord and whoever can make the greatest discovery is then named heir to the house and all its titles.

House Voclaine is a house focused on archaeology and the studies of history. Its members work tirelessly to research the past and uncover, safeguard and work to understand ancient artifacts. Its people are very traditional, holding many events pertaining to the celebration of their countries history. They specifically host a festival where they choose a culture of the world and hold an event where they dress as members of that culture to celebrate its history and are generally a people that enjoy theater and general entertainment.

House Voclaine is a surprisingly wealthy house, while their historical do net them some wealth, the truth behind their vast holdings lies in their under the table dealing with the pirates of Crocodile Reef and smuggling goods into the Aleanza for sale. With this substantial wealth they have been able to raise a formidable standing army and navy consisting of 2000 men and 150 warships.
