Maglubiyet

(a.k.a. King of the Deformed)

Maglubiyet is the goblinoid god of spite, war, and volatile magic. He was created by Bane to serve as a general for his armies of enslaved goblinoids and also posessed the power to create more. He promotes shock tactics using examples of extreme violence and displays of cruelty to demoralize the enemy before moving in for the kill and due to this goblins have a fierce reputation. During The Scourge Maglubiyet was of great support to Bane marching massive hordes of goblinoids through the mortal plane razing and pillaging before Bane and his army would roll through and collect the survivors as slaves. Present times however Maglubiyet resides in his realm of Clangor and holds an immense amount of resentment for all of his former allies and enemies including Bane himself and chooses to brood and support the goblinoids so that he may one day attain enough power to overthrow those he views as tyrants.

The symbol most often associated with Maglubiyet is two battleaxes crossed in an X formation. This symbol represents his two axes Spite and Malice. Worshipper of Maglubiyet often favor axes or wear this symbol on various bits of clothing or their shields and sometimes amulets.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Maglubiyet seeks to serve his master and creator Bane. Maglubiyet was created to be the leader of the goblinoid race and now commands them to wreak havoc across the world sewing misery, spite, and chaos across the material plane. He also grants volatile forms of magic to especially zealous worshippers and they often cause as much damage to themselves as to others.
