The Kraken's Mistress

The Kraken's Mistress is one of the largest and most popular tavern/inns in the settlement of Crocodile Reef. Located on the docks of the reef the tavern sees an influx of thirsty pirates every time ships come to port and the many barmaids are happy to serve. The inn has a plethora of services, offering booze, food, music, company and rooms for a fair price to all that need. The inn has been run by the Whitemane family. The current innkeep is a leonin they call Zimir of the Whitemanes, who is well known in the city for his friendliness, but those who try to take advantage of this are sure to meet his ferocious side.

Architecture

The tavern is two separate buildings connected by a skybridge that stretches over the Reef's mainstreet. Hanging over this street off the bridge is a massive wooden kraken head. To the left is the main entrance with two massive wooden swinging doors that opens up into a massive open floor strewn with rough looking tables made from scrap wood, barrels and whatever could be converted into a table. Towards the back of the room stands a large half square bar with two doors flanking eachside which has barmaids flowing in and out with platters of drink and steaming hot food. Lining the walls is a variety of dead sea creatures mounted on trophy displays, portraits of famous pirates long dead and of ancient sea beasts said to roam the seas. There is also a large spiral stair case in the center which leads to the second floor filled with more seating. This second floor also has the entrance to the skybridge which leads to the rooms on the other side. Each room contains 2 beds, a small desk, some light and a window (Some views are better than others).
