High Captain Torrin

High Captain Torrin once sailed under a merchant company until he grew tired of being pillaged by pirates and raiders. He signed on with The Royal Navy but gained little traction in reducing the high sea criminals due to the Navy fostering fear among trade routes. He then set out under a privateer vessel, The Barren Legacy, and took command after his Captain was killed in a boarding.
After 2 years of command he sought respite with the Volarus Expedition not realising he would endure dragons and infighting. He led the evacuation of Montcove and was instrumental in placating Nylus.
He now manages the Volatyen Military and his men are fiercely loyal to him and his ideals, while the guard may take bribes, turn a blind eye to petty crime and flaunt their authority, you will find no such misdeeds in the soldiers of Volatyen.
