Ostroman Kingdom
This country rests in the cradle of the southernmost part of the continent, protected by natural barriers, the people need to concern themselves with the conflicts of the wider world. This is a country of many peoples of many backgrounds, races and ethnicities. The Governing body is fair and kind to the people under its' rule. Peace, trade and culture flourish here. Innovators, philosophers and free thinkers are common here, for this is a land where dreams can become reality should you work hard to achieve it. With the variety of folk in these parts that means there's a variety of opportunity and adventure.
Structure
One person of a royal family trained in the art of ruling with fairness and kindness while also ruling with wisdom since childhood. This executive hand picks their advisors who are most trusted as friends, not as fellow politicians. Together they wield the executive power over the state. There is a council, however, that represents all facets of Ostroman society. The Council voices concerns to the leader of state and together the advisors and King or Queen determine the actions that need to be performed.
Culture
A culture of acceptance and peace. Simple, kind and elegant. The people of this land could be fierce should the need arise however it is encouraged that the individual can only contribute at maximum efficiency to society if they pursue their passions and talents, make a profession of it and use their unique talents and skills to create goods and services that contribute to the culture of this land. In short, pursue your dreams, society needs what you have to offer so long as your heart and passions are the prime factor to your profession.
Public Agenda
To welcome all people and learn/ understand as much as they can about not only the world of events but of existence, philosophies on morality. For the Governance, the goal is to listen to the people and make judgments taking their perspectives into great consideration.
History
During the chaos that was the aftermath of the great schism, this kingdom was forged through peace and strength in unity. No matter race or origin, this place was created to be a second chance for all peoples. One royal family was elected to hold supreme executive power for all time however, under strict requirements of the people, every future ruler is taught in the philosophies of ruling fairly and with empathy. Thus the Councel was created in order for the King or Queen to be able to directly address matters of state. The Kingdom has thrived yet has been isolated from other countries for generations now. Not much is known about southerners to northerners and vice versa.
