Farsire

Qualifications

Farsires technically only need to be proficient mages, but they are usually wealthy and affluent. Over time, the group has become more and more representative of wealth rather than magic.

Duties

Farsires are responsible for the largest decisions in the city of Farsight. They negotiate with the guilds, manage territory gains/losses, city diplomacy, and large public works. Theoretically, this is to make sure every decision does not unbalance magical forces. This philosophy went out of fashion during the latter days of the Magocratos, but is taken more seriously since the Destabilization.

Benefits

Power, but that creates money. Farsires may live in a quarter of the capitol building, but most are wealthy and live in their own estates.
