The lizardfolk of Vorandril originate from the swampy southern island of Pon'covic.

Social Structure

The country of lizardfolk, Pon'covic People, has a few true towns but many of it's people still live in small communities throughout its lands. Many prefer the smaller communities nestled in nature to the larger towns. Those that do live in the towns of Ith'Kin, Capital of the Pon'covic People, Pantar, and Dilthir were often raised there from childhood. Few lizardfolk that live in the smaller communites ever move to one of the towns, finding them excessive and loud.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Most lizardfolk still reside on the islands of Pan'covic. Often regarded in, if not outright fear, leery suspicion by most other civilized races they find it easiest to be amongst their own. They also say that there is a community of lizardfolk that have taken up residence in the Fool's Mire of Koraxis but since so few venture into the mire, this is often thought of as urban legend.

Some lizardfolk venture out to other continents to live amongst the other civilizations, although even those avoid Durval as they find the cold climate uncomfortable. Those that do are often regarded as emotionless and odd, even the most trusting of folks have a subconscious fear of the lizardfolk. Though they often have difficulty integrating into a community of other races, with enough time people learn to suppress that fear and accept lizardfolk. Even a community that has lizardfolk citizens are weary of unknown lizardfolk.
