Equipment

Modern Kinyars use a wide range of equipment, much of it is not regulated as the Empires armed forces are not centralised. One Kinyar might be outfitted with VSI ballistic vests, but another might not have the funds for such fancy armour.   Generally each Chivi (Squad) has at least 2 communication devices (radios, satellite uplink phones, etc) carried by 2 soldiers. This allows communication with the commander, and other parts of the formation. Another certainty is guns and ammunition, and food rations. Most everything else varies depending on how rich a lord is.

Weaponry

Through the ages the Mregian military has changed it's standard weapon, but in most recent times the widely used gun is

Vehicles

Kinyars have a variety of transport options available. Mainly non-heavy land based transport like APC's or quad bikes.

Structure

Hyavind - A Royal lord, part of one of the great Mregian houses, who can command individual lords. They may give them missions or directives but aren't in direct control of the lords army. A Hyavind can have several lords under him/her(Maximum of 4), effectively giving them a massive army. Including their own Kinyar, a hyavind can have up to 8,000 soldiers. This is called a Kyodet. ____________________________________________________   Vind - A lord who can own only one Kinyar. (1600 soldiers) Kirihes - One of four Generals who command a Tano (400 soldiers) * Setik - One of four captains who command a Kod (100 soldiers) Choset - One of 10 Squad leaders who command a Chivi (10 soldiers) Detkim - A single soldier.   *Traditionally he oldest Kirihes out of the 4 will be the superior, and have authority over the others.

Training

Each rank requires different training to support them and assure they can do their job effectively.   Detkims undergo Basic combat training, which includes melee, Use of guns, weapons maintenance, and fitness training. They can choose to do Advanced combat training, which teaches tactics, specialist weapons use, and basic survival methods.   Chosets undergo Basic, and advanced combat training, as well as command training, mainly just to make sure they can communicate with their higher ups rather than subordinates.   Setiks are responsible for 100 people,
