Fortune's Promenade
Fortune's Promenade is a large promenade that is constantly busy with the coming and going of merchants and the bustle of vendors selling their wares. The streets are full at all hours of the day and night. The storefronts are well maintained and the shop keeps often live on the second floor of their stores. Though many of the shops close their doors at night, the taverns and alehouses are stay open quite late. The district is heavily patrolled and lit by lamplight. At its heart, a grand statue of The Lady of Fortune looms over the commotion below and the grand, multi-leveled temple in her honour can always be seen.
Defences
This district is heavily patrolled, both by the district's well-trained watch and by mages from the Spellshaper's Consortium contracted by the Merchant Lords to ensure that no one attempts to use magic to cheat a merchant. In addition, there are almost always mercenaries and sell-swords accompanying merchants or seeking employment.
Assets
Nigh innumerable shops, taverns, stalls, and carts sprawl across the district. Nearly anything that can be sold can be purchased here (and what can't often just takes a small bribe to the right people.)
