General Summary

Arosmir revealed that his son had lost the belt. It had been taken by lies, deceit, cheating.
Arosmir did not seem interested in Alton's "offers to help". According to him, it was not for Alton to claim. It was Dimir's job to reclaim the belt, yet he had done nothing.
Alton went to speak with the Valkyrie. She was there for Arosmir, who refused to leave for Valhalla until his son grew a spine.
The Valkyrie was persuaded to reveal who was in possession of the belt, though she did not really see much value in Alton pursuing it.
Apparently, Dimir had lost the belt in a game with one of the frost giants: Vakaros, the jarl and a name Alton had heard once from Mieri (she had identified both Dimir and Vakaros as the ones who the party would need to speak with to "unlock" the treasure.
The office room filled with documents had a giant inside it, writing something.
On his way out, Alton stole the conspicuously elf sized bow from a giant's bedroom.

Farren engaged in conversation.
Farren revealed that the party came from above, but not nananana. He told of sky elves, which Goltag identified as those who had left with the wanderer.
Goltag was under the impression that there were cloud giants above.
When told of normal elves, without wings, Goltag seemed puzzled, though he said that the elves of Myth Elin were only given wings by the Wanderer after the death of the stars.
Goltag revealed a rumour that he had heard from a merchant that one of the stars had survived but had been kidnapped by Skala, a former frost giant Jarl, who had been exiled after it had been revealed that he was cursed to take the guise of a huge beast.
Farren told a story of how the party fought the nightmares spawned by the Child and they totally slayed the dragon that kidnapped Harold.
Goltag was unfamiliar with the Child, but spoke of the Sleeping One.

Rust watched the dino meat cooking intently.
He enlarged himself to get a larger portion.
As tongues had worn out, Rust could not communicate effectively. He tried to communicate in primordial but was only answered by the fire. The fire speculated, that since Rust was made of metal and metal was forged in fire, that the fire was Rust's father. The fire then attempted to convince Rust to set it loose and let it burn the place to the ground.

Rust had a flashback to a city burning, a child crawling away, and fire elementals rejoicing in the destructions.

Alton returned to the thieves' guild and attempted to convince a 10ft tall giant kin and a red winged member to let him join based on the fact that he had snuck around the Little Palace easily and the belt had already been stolen.
The tall one insisted he retrieve the actual belt.
The winged one seemed to want to let him join.
Alton heard of "the twins", who apparently once lived above. They "founded" Caiaryn.
After the tall one left, the winged one brought Alton through yet another secret passage, accessed by stirring a pot on display.
At the bottom of a spiral staircase with an ornate handrail, there was another statue with the two drow and one cloaked giant.
The winged one announced that they had a new member, maybe, and beckoned Alton to pickpocket a blank platinum coin from him, to "purchase" his cloak.
When Alton did so, a disembodied voice answered "oh what? yeah sure." and the coin vanished, leaving a smoke that formed a new cloak.

Rust was given seconds.
The party regrouped.
At the ship, Rust identified Alton's new items, to a degree.
Farren informed Wyldo that Donnie was not winning. They needed gauntlets to move the hammer.
Rust began work on Judy's ballista.
Farren trained with Shane.
Alton found the Bow of a Broken Oath was difficult to aim. He attuned to it anyway.
The travel should take about thirteen days.
