Deific Remnants

Deific Remnants are incredibly powerful artifacts left behind by the various deities that came to the Material Plane during The Schism. After they all retreated back to their own domains some pieces of them were left behind. In some cases a piece of their actual body such as a drop of blood or a strand of hair, but in most cases it is a tiny sliver of their equipment that broke off in the fighting such as a piece of their weapon or armor. Deific Remnants are some of the rarest artifacts in the world and only a small handful have ever been found and even fewer have ever been made public. Those that have been made public often have shrines and cathedrals built around them that pilgrims travel to from all over Vylderaine.
