Janujibal

The mountainous region of Janujibal in southern Aşkentilar does not have its own formal government. Instead, it contains a multitude of scattered towns and villages that are making use of the shade and caves of the mountains to survive rather than trying to make it in the Tharwazan Desert. Those who do not wish to live mobile on one of the Roving Cities of Tharwaza or in the ruins of Ramilsahar to the north choose to settle here. The area is also popular amongst those who left Thast Mondavrik from the south but could not bring themselves to leave the mountains entirely. For this reason, the settlements of Janujibal often have a high population of dwarves, strong crafting and technological skills, and are able to be fairly self sufficient even in the harsh desert mountains.
