Thast Mondavrik
Thast Mondavrik is a continent in the southern hemisphere of Vylderaine. It is bordered by the Provenance Ocean on the west, the Cerulean Ocean on the east, Aşkentilar to the north, and Mrázastrach to the south. The region itself is incredibly treacherous and is almost entirely comprised of mountains, crags, canyons, hills, and plateaus. The continent is dominated by the city state by the same name, Thast Mondavrik - City, one of the Sovereign Cities of Vylderaine. While there are other settlements on the continent of Thast Mondavrik, these are almost entirely mining and farming colonies run by the Castes and Clans of Thast Mondavrik and do not even have names, only number and letter associations. Everything that is produced by the smaller settlements that is not needed to keep the settlement running is sent back to the city of Thast Mondavrik proper via underground roadways. Thast Mondavrik has the highest population of dwarves of any nation or continent of Vylderaine and while almost any ancestry can also be found within their borders, most are likely to be considered second class citizens due to their strict caste and clan system. The nation of Thast Mondavrik is very technologically advanced and also very careful about who they share knowledge with. Because of this, Thast Mondavrik is one of the strongest political powers in Vylderaine as well as one of the most disdained due to their rather one sided cooperation and penchant for spying on their technological rivals.
