Saliměsto

Saliměsto is the largest and wealthiest city-state in the Honeywell Archipelago. Lying on the very tip of the southern peninsula of Móndelrona, the city made its fortunate through the trading of salt and spices, and earned its political influence through being one of the most convenient trading ports to stop at when traveling between the Provenance Ocean and Cerulean Ocean. This also has painted a target on the cities back for the many pirates of the Cerulean Ocean however which the city always has to contend with. To help combat against the pirates, the city created the Saliměsto Flotilla, a coalition of trading and military vessels from all of the city states of the Honeywell Archipelago that fly under the Saliměsto banner.

The city is ruled by Queen Amelia Salis as well as her husband, King Marco Salis. The two have three children: Caspar, Georgina, and Persephone Salis / The Lady in Red.

The once indomitable city-state has found competition in recent decades from the newly discovered city of Aureazalta and for awhile competed with each other for domination of trade in the Cerulean Ocean. However, recent negotiations have found a sort of common ground between the two city-states as Aureazalta agreed to let their Golden Scales fleet join the Saliměsto Flotilla.
