The Written Age

The Written Age is an umbrella term for all of the ages that have passed since the actions of Carthordian - Eternal Scholar / Father of Language . After the mortal finished their quest to travel all of Vylderaine and learn the languages of every culture, their deity, Sinavāḍu - The Overseer / All Knowing granted a shared language to all of the people of the Material Plane and named it after the Eternal Scholar himself.

The birth of a shared language started a Golden Age in Vylderaine as the people began to be able to communicate amongst each other and share knowledge, culture, and record their histories more accurately. Thus The Unwritten Age had ended and the Written Age was born.
