World's Fair

The World's Fair is an event that is held every 25 years in the city of Carthacht. It was held for the first time during The Age of Industry and was created by the Carthordian Society. During the fair, travelers and delegations from all over Vylderaine arrive to show off their new magic, technology, art, plays, and any other developments they have come up with. It was intended to be a way for the world of Vylderaine to come together and share ideas and cultures to help foster a better sense of understanding. Some nations however use it as a way to show the other nations just how powerful they are and some even use it as a chance for espionage. Despites some of it's more nefarious uses, the vast majority of Vylderaine approves of the World Fair and it continues to be a huge tourism draw for Carthact and the Vairedanian Empire.
