Grand Principality of Korshin

Grand Principality of Korshin is one of the successor countries of the old Vessian Empire and is often considered the least stable of them all. The Grand Principality was formed as the result of a deal struck between the princes in that area who wanted to stop fighting. As the result, one of them was elevated to the rank of a Grand Prince and became the protector of the new realm. As years were passing by, Grand Princes were gathering more and more power. The realm was being centralized. However, many of the lower princes weren't happy with that and opposed the changes. A civil war was averted, but from that time the realm is in a constant struggle between the Grand Princes, who wants to centralize it, and the princes who want autonomy.

Religion

Religious structure of the Grand Principality is proof that the imperial policy of making Perun the supreme deity for all failed. On the territory of the Grand Principality you can find followers of Perun, Rod, Svarog, Morskoy and even some followers of an ancient folk religion worshiping Mother Earth. All of those groups recognize all of the gods. They only differ in which god is the most important for them.

Foreign Relations

Grand Principality tries to keep peaceful relations with other countries. The Grand Prince understoods that with the not-so-stable situation of his realm it would be unwise to engage in any hostile actions against foreign powers.

Meanwhile, they feel the pressure of the Vessian Tsardom who wants to rebuild the old empire. To protect the realm, the Grand Prince signed an alliance with the Tsardom of Krevia. Grand Prince is also conducting negotiations with the Brotherhood of Perun, a knightly order, to make them stop supporting the Vessian Tsar.
