Wotoch (WO-tosh)

The region of Wotoch, is dominated by the warrior-nations of the Chantecah, Quinametzin, and Xuma Empires. The land is largely split between arid, but temperate plateaus and subtropical lowland jungles. These nations wage never-ending war with each other and their neighbors in order to expand tribute and feed their gods’ unquenchable need for sacrifices. So it is that the taking of prisoners is of paramount importance to Wotoch warfare. It needs to be said that these warriors and many of their opponents share the same beliefs, so it is seen as a great honor to give one’s life to the gods—a concept foreign to many outsiders.
