Vreidston has long been known as Wallencia's first line of defense against the foul creatures of the Forbidden Lands. The northern most major city of Wallencia, it neighbors the main gate to the Forbidden lands. The soldiers in Vreidston are world-reknowned as some of the fiercest warriors in existence. As a major city, Vreidston has much to offer from industry to craftsmanship to education to agriculture. A good mix of different races live within the walls of this great city. Warriors are championed here but magic users are viewed with skepticism. Magic is still practiced here, but Necromancy of any kind is strictly outlawed. Since its establishment, Vreidston has been a Monarchy, with the Hornravens as the royal family. In 3115 AW, King Bentrice Hornraven gave in to obsession over necromancy, and created a powerful ring for raising the dead: The Vreidstone. His intent was for conquering the world with an army of undead soldiers and dragons. His plans were quickly thwarted by his own son, Salmon, who was forced to kill his own father. When Salmon took the throne, he outlawed necromancy in general, hoping to never see these sort of obsessions take hold in his city again. However, as a family very proud of their history, Salmon kept the ring secured in the family vault as a reminder of family mistakes.
