Steelborn

Steelborn are artificial beings, created rather than born.

Each Steelborn stands roughly the same height as an Elf, and is usually composed of a humanoid armored shell around a heavily armored soul core, containing the being's core essence. Although few Steelborn are being created in the modern day, they are viewed with some fear by common mortals, and with active disdain by many religious sects. Their rarity and magical nature makes them difficult to injure, but almost equally difficult to repair when true damage is sustained.
