Cornerwood

Nestled between the river and the forest, the once-prosperous town of Cornerwood stands as a reminder of the trade route between Gate Pass and Dassen. Since the events 40 years ago causing the Innenotdar Fire Forest however, the town has steadily declined in prosperity. The decline is perhaps best seen in the Palatial, the barely adequate husk of a once-grand inn. The large rooms are now nearly bare, food passable at best, and there is bitterness in almost every conversation about life's inequities.
Suna, a larger human woman, runs the Palatial - a massive and run-down inn that has seen better years. Captain Kinroar leads the guards in town.
