Hydra-Liger
The Hydra-Ligers, better known as the Ligers, are rare hybrid offspring of male Trilions and female Ditigers. Ligers have parents in the same genus but of different species. The Liger is distinct from other Satanimals, and is the largest of all known extant Beasts. They enjoy swimming, which is a characteristic of Ditigers, and are very sociable like Trilions. Notably, Ligers grow larger than either parent species and are also classified in the family of Beasts. A female Hydra-Liger is a Ligress. Their Magic Level is Red, Flank Silver.
Basic Information
Anatomy
A Hydra-Liger equals and even excels in proportions to a well-grown Trilion, measuring from nose to tail 100 feet in length. Ligers show faint striping and mottling and exhibit strong traces of both parents. They each possess a somewhat reptilian-like tail, with the bodies of massive felines and five serpentine heads each. The five heads possess no traces of manes, and are mounted on five long serpentine necks. Ligers are massive beasts, and the presence of one has been known to kill men with fear. The amount of damage the Hydra-Liger takes is based on where it is hit. The most vulnerable spots are their open mouths.
Genetics and Reproduction
Unlike their parents, Ligers lay eggs. This is due to a genetic mutation. Ligers typically lay eggs in the swamps they dwell in, as the hot and mineral-rich deposits of muddy liquid released from the swamp-geysers will nourish the eggs and keep them warm until they hatch. It normally takes one week for an egg to hatch. One cluster normally consists of about 50 eggs.
Growth Rate & Stages
An infant Hydra-Liger will weigh about 400-467 lbs and will reach adulthood in 8 days.
Ecology and Habitats
They are found in desert-areas and forests.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Hydra-Ligers will consume anything in their path, even other Satanimals.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
When a Liger is attacked, its heads will die, each one replaced with 2 more heads, shooting explosive orange orbs of fire which deal large quantities of damage. Hydra-Liger can ignite all entities that they encounter as well as any flammable materials such as trees or leaves (Ligers can also cause the swamps they live in around to ignite and burn) and cause said entities to take direct fire damage from the attack as well as lingering damage from the fire. With five heads each, a Liger can take down multiple enemies at once. Since heads will regrow if cut off, the only solution to kill a Liger is to cauterize its wounds to stop them from healing and poison it with venom extracted from the fang of an Ogre.
