Walking-Trees
Walking-Trees, better known as Onod, are an old race that roam the forests of the Mountains. Although the Onod are sentient beings, they did not know how to speak until the Overlords taught them. Their Magic Level is Brown, Flank Gold.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Onod exhibit wide variations in personal traits (height, coloring, number of digits), as they resemble the specific types of trees that they shepherd. For example; the Rowan-Onod guard the rowan trees and thus resemble rowans: tall and slender, smooth-skinned, with ruddy lips and grey-green hair. The main types of Onod are: Rowan-Onod, Chestnut-Onod (brown-skinned Onod with large splayed hands, and short thick legs), Ash-Onod (tall straight grey Onod with many-fingered hands and long legs), Fir-Onod (incredibly tall and thin) and the Oak, Birch and Beech-Onod (stocky Onod with olive-brown skin and thousands of feathery digits on their hands). Onod share some of the strengths and weaknesses of trees as well. Their skin is extraordinarily tough and very much like wood, but they are vulnerable to fire and chopping blows from axes.
Genetics and Reproduction
Onod disperse seeds, which sprout into Saplings. Saplings are baby Onod and are much like seedlings at their youngest. In their youth they are "bendy", although they "stiffen" as they grow older.

Average Physique
Onod are tall and very strong, capable of tearing apart rock and stone (though they use their full strength only when they are "aggravated"). Their bark-like skin and flesh makes them difficult to harm even with axes, and a single punch from an Onod can kill; although they do hurl stones they otherwise do not use weapons.
