Are there rich people in
Solis Bay ? For sure. Most folks when they come to the city they hit up
Capshaw thinking they'll spot some famous model, or Loop influencer or whatever. That's small time, bro. Those people that bought mansions in Capshaw... they just bought that shit and soon they'll be selling it when the juice runs dry. When their tech startup craps out. That kind of wealth is temporary. That's show money.
The real ones are in Baretta Hills, just outside the city proper. That's old money up there. Most of them, you don't even know their names, and they like it that way. They're not flashing diamond watches and slick whips on their socials for clout. That's all show, bro, and like I said, their money ain't show. Their liquid is invisible. It's everywhere and everything.. The road you drive on. The roof you sleep under. Their money is the blood, you feel me?
Six years ago my cousin, he said he got on a crew to jack a house up in the Hills. I begged his ass not to go. I told him it ain't worth it. He didn't get it. Now I got no cousin no more. Poof. Vanished. We don't call the cops because when you fuck with those people you don't become a missing person - you never existed in the first place.
So if you're telling me there's something strange going on in Baretta Hills, then all I can tell you is to not worry about it. Don't get involved. Forget that shit yesterday.
Because whatever it is, my guy... it's the will of God, you feel me?
Baretta Hills Infini-Grove
This world class shopping center was built in the 1980's. Originally known as The Baretta Grove, this mall boasted nearly 200 shops, which included 35 different restaurants spanning multiple floors, and a 12 screen multiplex. The grove was renowned for its combination of modern design and classical marble sculptures. It has been featured in several motion pictures and television programs.
In 1996
Infini bought the mall, and piloted some of its experimental consumer programs there, including installing holographic lighting techniques, and Infini cards that could be loaded with cash and used at any shop. This was the first mall in which hologram likenesses of Bruce Lee and Marilyn Monroe would greet customers and guide them around the facility.
In 1998 the mall was renamed The Baretta Hills Infini-Grove, and became the first true Infini Mall, a prototype for future shopping centers that would eventually take over the American shopping experience.
In 2002 Infini launched their Infini-gym program here, in which patrons could work out and earn discounts towards products throughout the mall. Like a free pretzel!
