Dwen is a common name used to refer to Elves. It comes from a word meaning "discipline" in the early human tongues. Though it is sometimes used as a derrogatory term, Elves have certainly earned that name, for they are devoted and committed unlinke any other race in the worlds. They believe that only through purpose and a relentless pursuit of the same, can one achieve fulfillment. Their craftmanship is widely sought after, their knowledge is seldom questioned.

In Obora today, Elves, like most humans and dwarves, can be divided into three main groups, Addarian, Angorian, and Freedan. Although, Elves prefer to make the disction between Norfolk (from Evrun), Southkin (from Koffus), and Easwend (from Ewend). That is not to say that there are any rivalries between them, they simply don't see themselves as one people, on account of living great distances apart.
