Vaarz

Vaarz, also known as the Dry Sea, is a quiet windswept country. One which would give the untrained eye the illusion of being peaceful, but it is far from it. The sand shifts like the tides of the sea, often creating sinkholes or pools of quicksand that swallow unsuspecting travelers. The sandstorms that The Kaba bring about with their galloping thousands could swallow entire cities. And all manner of monsters and beasts crawl beneath the surface, anxious to claim their next prey.

Oxson, the Leviaphan city, is the only place in Vaarz where one might find the comforts of civilization. As the only oasis in the land, Oxson rests on riches and leisure. Ruled by Bigon, the Ivory King, Oxson is a bastion of strength, ever unwilling to surrender its sovereignty again. The people of Oxson boast the most extraordinary hospitality. And rightfully so, as their entire economy, or at least the great majority of it, is sustained solely on tourism. For the Leviaphans of Oxson are proud lords over the most exotic lands in Obora.

Orkin Hill, another one of Vaarz's noteworthy landmarks, is actually a large plateau. Local rumors say that the Shah of the Hill Horde people cut the entire hilltop off with a single swing of his sword in order to make a home for his people. Though the story may not be true, Orkin Hill is in fact the home of the Hill Horde Orcs. They only venture down onto the plains of the Sorrowdrought when the Kaba are traveling in the opposite direction. They otherwise live off looting and raiding the outer villages of the Arazar kingdom.
