Abria d'Cannith

An Thrannic artificer and marked member of Cannith West, in her late 30's and known as a talented alchemist specializing in advanced materials. Based out of Thaliost on the Aundair/Thrane border, she is the current overseer of the project to rebuild White Arch Bridge, something mired in years of disaster and controversy including the death of her husband, Medrano d'Cannith. 
Diiroehn knows her as a member of The Aurum, a secretive business collective engaged in unethical practices to undermine power from the Houses and the Five Nations. Meeting her again in Arcanix, he realized she was the alchemist behind a highly illegal series of kidnappings, torture and experiments intended to extract and temporarily grant the benefits of a dragonmark, and that seeing her project is what led to the attempt on his life, and being left for dead two years before. 
Upon learning she had obtained information from Beacon somehow, she was tracked to a laboratory in Sharn, and held under duress. It was discovered that she had kept samples from Boris d'Lyrandar, a former victim of her team, and used them to scry on him and extract secrets from Beacon. The team from Beacon burned her lab, destroyed her ill-gotten research, and left her humiliated and without resources while forcing her to stay away from the inquest.
