Ancient Giants

The long-destroyed and nearly forgotten people, the first "new" empire that arose in the world after it was claimed from the demons, now reduced to ruins littering the jungles of Xen'drik.
Called the Ancient Giants in modernity, it's known they were spread out over the continent of Xen'drik. Their largest state, called the Cul'sir Empire, ruled most of the mainland, while the Group of Eleven were a league of smaller city-states such as Scora Bael which traded with the Empire and among themselves. The Sul'at League was the most influential organization of mages, scientists and artificers, and held considerable power and lands scattered through the Empire and the Group of Eleven.
It is believed that they destroyed themselves, a misuse of their impressive magic and technology which cast their empire into flames, leaving the few survivors to form the nomadic Rushemé traditions, and afflicted by the "madness of crowds", the Du'rashka Tul.
