Correnth ir'Cassar
A member of Aundair's civil service in good standing, adopted son of a noble house, and the first assistant to the nation's Ministry of the Interior. Correnth is a talented wizard, set to be married to a scion of another influential noble house, and organizes non-military advice between the Arcane Congress and the nation of Aundair.
Known to very few, however, Correnth is Adal ir'Wynarn's son, raised in strict education by the prince along with Adalror. Now as an adult, he works with Adal and his other secret siblings, forming a power bloc within Aundair's government and military. As a child, he faked the death of his brother Adalror, allowing him some freedom and ensuring their father wouldn't come after him.
He was briefly framed for embezzlement by Adal, after Adalror's attempts to go after his father led to the prince assuming the wrong conspiracy. Once Adalror came forward and proved his identity, Correnth was "released" and the charged dropped, but he remains terrified of the prince, and wants peace between them more than an ongoing feud he believes Adal would win.
