Session 15 - The Obelisk Fort - DM's Summary

General Summary

Playing in person at PAX!
A group made of Shivaren, Illalai, Mafaldine, Voroc, Zellandria and Ket met up and went to follow the lead on the shard-shower that'd fallen in the jungle.
Following a trail, they found warning signs in both ancient giant and modern drow, marking the area as dangerous and under the effect of psionic influence.
Pushing forward through the rain, they found nature strangely ordered - birds flying in single file, ants marching in formation, and their footsteps lining up in sync.
In a muddy clearing, they found an old fort in a strange style, surrounding a tall black obelisk identified as belonging to The Quori in ancient times.
Investigating and searching for the dragonshards that'd fallen from the sky, they met a group of mind-controlled Vulkoori, desperately digging through the mud. 
Partly controlled themselves by the obelisk, the party broke free, fought off the Vulkoori and destroyed the obelisk.
Recovering the shards, a quori stone that creates food and stimulants, the partial skeleton of a quori being exhumed by the drow, and an amnesiac vulkoori, the party returned home.
