Attivus' Alcove

West of Olmsvad, nestled along the Andas River, Attivus’ Alcove functions as a library, storing and preserving texts on all manner of topics. Founded nearly 700 years ago by Lord Attivus Ninevah (A reputable war commander and intellectual), it has continued to exist largely independent from other government or religious bodies thanks to the patronage of wealthy nobles. In exchange, the monks who study here are required to serve a term as teachers and advisors to these benefactors.
Among the various documents held here are those which the Empire might consider ‘Illicit’. Chronicles of usurped rulers and false gods, treatises on arts both mundane and obscure, archives of a bygone era. Whatever one seeks, you are sure to find something about it here, though these accounts may prove to be contradictory or embellishing in part.
