Geoffrey Arthur Trueaim
Geoffrey Arthur Trueaim is the offspring of Major Humphrey Reginald Trueaim and Henrietta Georgiana Lindon.
Both Humphrey and Henrietta had lived on the Rock of Bral. Humphrey, a Major in the Giff Brigade on Bral, had served valiantly for many years. But when he and Henrietta found out they were expecting their first child, they decided to leave Bral and raise their child in a more suitable environment. Although giffs had never ventured into the world of Toril, they decided to do so.
Together, they made their way to Port Nyanzaru in the jungle of Chult. At first, Humphrey and Henrietta were not welcomed in Port Nyanzaru, but Humphrey soon gained a reputation as a skilled hunter and marksgiff with his musket. In time, he was able to hire himself as a safari guide for travelers, as well as hire himself out as a mercenary for those willing to pay well.
By the time Geoffrey was born, Humphrey and Henrietta had saved enough money to buy a parcel of land outside of Port Nyanzaru. There, they raised local crops and fended for themselves.
But Geoffrey, having heard stories of Wildspace from his mother, eventually longed to travel amongst the stars he gazed in wonder every night.
When he was of age, his father gave him his musket. Although sad to see their only offspring leave, Geoffrey's parents gave him their blessing to travel to Wildspace. His father tasked him with visiting his former commander, Coloner Horatio Stanford Ironside in Giff Town on the Rock of Bral. He said the Colonel could help him find work on a spelljammer ship.
Geoffrey found a spelljammer ship in Port Nyanzaru which took him to the Rock of Bral in Selune's Tears. Once he arrived, he immediately made his way to Giff Town, but soon learned the colonel had recently died in a battle with Neogis in a wildspace system near Realmspace.
Undaunted, Geoffrey Arthur Trueaim gathered his equipment and left Giff Town to find a job onboard a spelljammer ship to fulfill his dreams of traveling amongst the stars of Wildspace.
