General Summary

Stardate 2.1495.2   Rock of Bral, Realmspace       The spacefarers ran into one another in Low City, not far from the Docks of Bral.   Except for Kat'gul, the others were on the Rock of Bral either visiting or trying to find passage onboard spelljamming ships bound for other wildspace systems.       Kat'gul was being chased by several crewmembers of a hammerhead slave ship after the thri-kreen managed to escape while the ship was docked for supplies while on its way to Dragon Rock.   When the spacefarers overheard the crew yelling to each other about recapturing the runaway slave, they decided to fight the slavers.   The spacefarers managed to kill all but two of the slavers who fled.   After, the spacefarers introduced themselves to one another.   Among the spacefarers was an astral elf named N'imoy. He said he was a cleric of Ptah, the god of artists, artisans, craftsmen, and travelers. N'imoy added that he represented an organization known as the Pragmatic Order of Thought, or POT for short. The cleric said he was on his way to visit the various taverns and inns of Bral hoping to find brave and skilled spacefarers to join him on a mission to bring back, dead or alive, five infamous pirates.   When asked about payment, N'imoy said he had letters of marque officially notarized by superiors in the Order and by Prince Andru of Bral himself.   N'imoy said the bounty for each pirate on the list was 10,000 gold pieces! In addition, the spacefarers could, of course, keep whatever they could take from the captured or slain reavers. When asked about a ship, the cleric said he had acquired a spelljamming ship from the Order, along with a full complement of crewmembers. He said he would naturally welcome any spellcaster as a helmsman on the ship currently being stocked with supplies for their journey.   The spacefarers, each with their reason for agreeing to N'imoy's proposition, agreed to join on the hunt for pirates.   He welcomed them and offered to provide more details about their mission over a drink at the portside tavern, The Rockrat.
