Rysel Medical Laboratories
Specializing in medical goods, tools, and complex machines, Rysel Medical Laboratories is a division of Rysel Industries headquartered on Alexandria. Cerianne Rysel specifically spun this corporation off when it became clear it was suffering from being under the same budgetary division as the Pharmaceuticals company. Since then, RML has been producing everything from simple ointments and creams to more complex machines; barring the few far-advanced machines developed during the Star League, the production Rysel Medical Laboratories have been supplying limited but new machines (along with servicing in the case of equipment failure) for two hundred years through most of the Federation of Skye.
However, in 2978 a falling-out with Rysel Industries CEO Jacob Reiseille caused a massive disruption to this company and many products ceased to be produced. As such, artificial wombs and various machines which were developed to assist with newborn and infant health seemed to vanish over the space of a week from RML catalogs and have not returned to sale even after Sorvetz Reisel assumed control of the company. It is widely suspected one of the casualties of the power struggle was a lostech factory producing these objects, a rumor Sorvetz has refused to address to either deny or confirm.
Currently, Sorvetz manages this company directly rather than place someone else in charge of it.
Alexandria: Despite Rysel Pharmaceuticals having only a distribution center, Alexandria has become the heart for Rysel Medical Laboratories to work from. They have a number of production facilities, and have devoted another facility to the Research and Development Division.
Chara: Thanks to the planet of Pacifica largely avoiding attacks during the earlier Succession Wars, there are two facilities on the planet handling production of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Recent raiding, however, has set back expansion and production for these holdings. The local Head of Operations, Liam Peppel, has been working closely with local government officials to find ways to mutually benefit from the recovery efforts.
Syrma: Rysel Medical Laboratories established a production and distribution facility here, offering decent wages for the local residents and attempting to shift their attitudes about technological advancement. Recently, Sorvetz Reisel and his daughter have been investing in projects to reach out to the population descended from the original settlers. This has not gone entirely well, but there is a promising future here.
New Earth: Repeated and persistent raiding during the early Succession Wars had caused ties to be cut with the facilities here. However, surprisingly, it turned out the Head of Operations in 2849 had been able to keep the facilities producing and even profitable enough to keep the facilities open and safe. In 3023, Sorvetz Reisel noticed what he believed were unlicensed goods being sold from a distribution center on Tau Ceti, and after investigation he officially sanctioned the facilities and expended some capital to bring them up to the standards of other RML production facilities.
Izar: Despite fierce storms, Rysel Medical Laboratories maintains an active production and distribution facility here. The ample local supply of raw material makes it a good fit, though there is often trouble outbidding for the more exotic materials.

These characters, and the company, are modeled in part by characters belonging to a dear friend of mine who has creative ideas and permitted me to use these characters. I claim nothing here as my own original work, only an interpretation to fit the universe which this takes place in.
