Augustus Spineshade was born in Seaport to a family of Sorcerers so he had a natural talent for magic; it ran in his blood. His parents taught him how to use magic as soon as he was old enough to talk, so he entered the Manaweaver Academy as a high level Sorcerer. He studied Necromancy and Evocation, and due to his intelligence and determination he finished his schooling a year early after achieving level 9 in both schools of magic. He had a vast knowledge of all the schools of magic but necromancy had always been his favourite. At the age of 15, he became a teacher at the Manaweaver Academy; the youngest ever teacher the school had seen.
