Personal history
They were born into a wealthy family in Seaport. Fern attended the Manaweaver Academy as a child and was a very talented student. They thrived in abjuration, but decided they wanted to teach transmutation as they found it more interesting. They majored in Abjuration and minored in Transmutation however they restarted their time at the academy after a year to major in Transmutation and minor in Abjuration. They consider abjuration more of a hobby, and transmutation more of a career path.
