Omu

Ancient city that use to reside in the deep jungles of Chult. Omu was a mysterious city that was populated by cult like followers of Dendar, The Night Serpent and worshiped all snakes.
Approximately 100 years ago, An evil paladin, by the name of Ras Nsi, defected to Omu from his native city of Mezro. Mezro had been Omu's chief rival for power over the peninsula. The populace of Omu, including many Yuan-Ti, followed Ras Nsi into attacking Mezro.
Mezro successfully defended against Omu's attack and in response to the hostilities, Mezro razed Omu to the ground, leaving the once great city a pile of ruins. The location of Omu's ruins have been lost over the century but rumors have begun anew that the ancient evil powers of Omu may be once again on the rise.
