Volothamp Geddarm

A legendary traveler and storyteller, most famous for his guidebook to monsters.  Volo is the quintessential "go-to guy" of Wildemount, even if his information is at best, half-accurate. He is often too curious for his own good which often gets him into stick situations. 
Volo is primarily a travelling scholar with some minor wizard talents. He is always on the lookout for a good exposé which frequently puts him at odds with other powerful practitioner of magic who would preferred some things be kept in the dark.
While Volo's reputation is well-earned and well-kept, by all accounts he is somewhat of a coward who prefers to write about adventures instead of having them. He has built himself a very profitable empire on the exploits, deeds and experiences of others.
