Wish Of Luck And Pluck

A Wish Of Luck And Pluck is a tribute that is done to the Stars to grant one luck and confidence. Originally done by explorers whom would enter other realms and hope to be able to return home without experiencing any harm, it's become a common morning ritual for many after The Withering.

Execution

To make a Wish of Luck and Pluck, one must make an offering to the Star Isabelle Castor or to Ascah Castor. A small, star-shaped altar with an Edenite gem embedded into it is required, one blessed by the full moon. Once that is done, the person making the offering is to locate the room in their abode that feels the most spiritually important to them.

Once in the room, they are to place the altar in the center of the room and place a piece of silver on each corner of the altar. If they are wishing for a specific item they own to be blessed, such as dice, they are to place the item in question at the center atop of the Edenite gem. Once that's done, they are to make the first half of the prayer:

WITH YOUR HANDS OUTSTRETCHED TOWARDS MINE
WITH MY HANDS HELD IN YOURS
MAY YOUR STARS SHINE DOWN BRIGHTLY ON ME
AND MAY OUR HEARTS BEAT AS ONE

After this is done, you are to light a match over the altar, and then say the next half:

I WISH FOR YOUR BLESSINGS
I WISH FOR YOUR CONFIDENCE
I PUT MY FAITH IN YOUR SOUL
JUST AS YOU PUT YOURS IN MINE

Then, you drop the match onto the altar. If done correctly, then the match will vanish upon contact with the altar or the item that you wish to be blessed. Those who have done this ritual have reportedly had better luck than normal, as well as feeling a renewed sense of courage and determination in their life, allowing for them to do much more than they normally would. Any item that has been blessed, meanwhile, will function much better than it has before, or if it's a luck-based thing such as dice, the odds will be increased in their favor.
