Nenron

Nenron is a region in Western Airgona that is home to the Monkey-Bear people known as the Ya'con. The region is naturally protected by the Manytail Mountains to the east. It is because of this that the Ya'con of the region have been able to live in mostly isolation from the rest of the species in Airgona, although Minatourian Raiders often make expeditions trips to capture and raid the Ya'con villages around the mountains. The Order of the Unseen have also tried to enslave the Ya'con times before. Nenron is divided into hundreds of different tribes of the Ya'con, however they can be divided into four separat groups of tribes- Sea Tribes, Mountain Tribes, Swamp Tribes, and the Deep Forest Tribes. The region is dotted with the humungus Cr'ist Trees whos roots grow on the exterior and top of the trees along with the leaves.

Geography

West Nenron is dominated by the Manytail Mountains, which is full of green fauna, lush valleys, and hidden caves where the Ya'con make villages. The Manytail Mountains gradually slope downward south to the southeastern swamps known as the Fuzeed Swamps. To the northwest of the Manytail Mountains lies the Watery land known as Yeimund where some of the largest Cr'ist Trees grow. Directly in the middle of the region lies the Deepwood, where the jungle of Nenron is the thickest and most dangerous. On the western shore lies the beaches of Nenron, which the forest spilsl out onto golden shores. Toward somewhere in the north of the island lies Imagima, which is described as a large thicket wall that separates a small piece of land that only the king of the monkey bears can enter.

History

Before Nenron was settled by the Ya'con, Nenron was said to be a wild land with great beasts and huge plants in the land. The ancient race of Haudons which controled much of Southern Airgona in the first era would create many fetishes and place them in Nenron in order to use the land as a flourishing hunting ground. A single baston was created in the Manytail Mountains known as Golden Light Bastion in order to keep watch of the region. The bastion was made abandoned after the fall of the Haudons.   Nenron was first found by the Ya'con sometime in the early second era, when they migrated north from Letwine. Legend says that when the first ancestors of the Ya'con entered Nenron, the land was full of fetishes and auras that split the presences of the Ya'con in two, separating the primal and civilized natures of the Ya'con. This would lead to two aspects of Ya'connian culture existing, primal tribes and civilized tribes, with the primal tribes being controled by the aspect of Primalcy, which was created during the Ya'con's entrance into Nenron.   In 6072 2E, the Minatours of Bescora, under the rule of the merciless warcheif Bazugag, would launch a huge raid on Nenron, hoping to break its natural barriers and subjugate many of the Ya'con.   In 7567 3E, great storms would ravage the region, causing many deaths of the Sea Tribes.   In 7784 3E, the Cr'ist Rebellion would begin, with the Cr'ist Trees acting at first strange, before resulting in the trees attacking the Nenrons.   In 8004 4E, the Primal Aspect would return.
